Description
2007 Safari Cheetah 40SFD powered by a 350-horsepower CAT C7 diesel engine on a Roadmaster chassis. The odometer shows 55,089 miles. Features include dual slide-outs, solid countertops, premium cabinetry, a walk-thru bathroom, rear bedroom, exterior TV, and an Onan Quiet Diesel 8000 generator with 983 hours.
Exterior: The driver's side mirror mount is broken. Cracks in the fiberglass under the windshield. Loose mudflap on the rear. See images for additional details.
Interior: Normal wear. Good condition for age.
Mechanical (Updated): After attempting to start the RV once again (with a jump start), it had ran and drove. We had only driven a short distance and experienced a heavy rattle/shake, similar to a failing U-joint. We can't guarantee that it will start again. It does need all the batteries replaced. Started and ran when arrived but stalled and would not start back up. Only clicks when turning the key. We have been told that the transmission had failed and will not shift through gears (unit was towed in). No power to interior functions nor the generator. The left slide-out receives power and operates but the right slide-out does not operate.
